MACHMBR System is and biological treatment system that combines activated sludge process and submerged type membrane filtration. Membrane units substitute secondary settling tanks in MBR system. Complete suspended solid removal, bacteria removal at important level, efficient organic matter removal and smaller area requirement are the main advantages of MBR system.
MACHMBR technology has many advantages such as high biochemical efficiency, resistance to fluctuant loads, high sludge age and easy operation when it is compared with conventional biological treatment methods.
MACHMBR membrane modules is produced from, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) material and it is composed of capillary porous and fiber spaced structure. Aeration diffusers are placed at the bottom of suspended membrane fibers for membrane cleaning and lower energy consumption. Through that, fouling and clogging time is extended, flux is increased, failure sourced off-time and covered area is minimized.
